Abstract | The humans are only able to survive their existence because of society and culture. That is the reason of existence of society, and culture is because the reason of existence of man. Famous anthropologist Malinowski has declared culture as a machine in human life which human can use it according to his way? In current time, the culture is changing rapidly. This is due to industrialization and westernization. Due to change in the element of culture their process is also started changing special tribal background caste included small and small element plays an important role. The Jatra celebrated in Kamar is affecting their economic, political and social status. On a conclusion way, the Jatra has the both negative and positive effects. Which mostly affects non-tribal caste like Kamar tribes never use new crop before Jatra festival but those who not celebrate Jatra mainly use the mango, mahua (Butter tree, Botanical name: Madhuca Longifolia) etc. and Kamar tribe's families who are totally dependent on crops until they celebrated Jatra the crop of mango and mahua gets destroyed. The most positive impact of Jatra celebrated by Kamar tribes also which mainly act as a communication way in these tribes. Small but these effects lead in the development of tribal society because its make a bridge between tribal and non-tribal society. |
