| Abstract | This paper presents is a technical-economic study on various CO2 capturing methods in thermal power plants. This study is based on an Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) and a conventional combustion of Pulverized Coal (PC). Two main methods were envisaged for the capture of CO2 i.e., pre-combustion and post-combustion. |
