| Abstract | The present study deals with the formulation of a novel therapy comprising of multiple particulate systems for the dual release of the drug (i.e. modified release) so as to meet the required challenges. The multi-unit particulate system comprises of two units, smaller sized (4-5mm) tablets and pellets with different polymer coatings. The formulations of above two units differ with respect to technological requirement, methodology, time and technical skills. The study has focused on these points and has come up with a comparison between the two. |
