Something that is considerable for residents and visitors in the 21st century and not in too distant future is visual features of urban furniture elements but in recent decades, because of little attention to the urban furniture issues, in most urban space of Iran its functional aspect has received little attention to visual attractiveness and its quality in urban environment. The aim of this study is evaluate of strengths and weaknesses urban furniture in Iran, through classified into two categories; fixed and removable and survey of functions of each component with respect to harmony between two elements of function and aesthetics the design of urban furniture. Research method was analytical-descriptive and we have analyzed the present situation based on the available evidence. The results show that due to lack of proper planning and management and Shortage of allocated Funds to this sector there are many of failures in Level of urban spaces rather than Existing standards in the world in urban furniture sector that need to attention and investment by urban managers.
