Abstract | The Digital Age Technology has become an important part of the classrooms of the 21st century. It has transformed the education system as we knew it. However, technology alone cannot improve the teaching learning experience. To effectively harness the digital technology, the teacher too has to re-invent herself. She is no longer merely the main source of information in the classrooms. She has to be a risk taker, an innovator, a content curator and a collaborator. This paper attempts to study the changing role that a teacher of the 21st century has to play, so that she can enable her students to become successful participants of the global classroom. |
