Traditional herbal drugs ate most widely used to treat various liver disorders and these disorders are very common now-a-days due to social and status life style of human beings. Several modern medicines are available in the market but have various serious side effects adverse effects. Approximately 80% of world populations are rely on traditional drugs to cure any kind of diseases. With such a huge section of an ever increasing population relying on herbal remedies, it is imperative that the plant products which have been in use for such a long time be scientifically supported for their efficacy. The present paper deals with the formulation of polyherbal formulation (PHF) in form of herbal tablet containing aqueous extract of AI: Abutilon indicum (Leaves), PN: Phyllanthus niruri (Fruits), EA: Eclipta alba (Leaves) and AS: Allium sativa (Bulb). The prepared formulation (PFT1 to PFT 5) was further evaluated as per standard procedure.
