Abstract | The present study assess the financial analysis of selected new generation banks in India,namely ICICI,HDFC and Axis Bank using CAMEL approach the period of 2013-17.CAMEL method as a composite analysis Index of financial analysis of commercial banks touch up on the core arena of banking performance of adequacy of capital, asset qualities,efficiency of management,earning quality and liquidity.In the case of capital adequacy, INDUSIND Bank is the best,while ICICI Bank got lowest rank.HDFC Bank achieve topest in Asset quality and ICICI Bank have bottom level.Efficiency of management variable,noticed that first rank takern by KOTAK MAHENDRA Bank and least by ICICI. Earning Quality,the capability of ICICI Bank attain the highest while KOTAK MAHENDRA Bank earn ultimate among them.In terms of liquidity,AXIS Bank become first among them and YES Bank ,last one.The Housing Development Finance Corporation of India Banks perform better in all indicators of financial performance. |
