Big Data has now become a vital subject for various varieties of organizations and administrations. Both public and private companies have been gaining benefits by collecting and analyzing vast amounts of information. With the current technological advancements, companies are producing a massive amount of data that continues to become more intricate for data analytics. Big data analytics can help businesses to resolve complicated problems and challenges, achieve fact-based decision making, as well as improve their overall performance. To manage and achieve the optimum level of benefits and value from this ever-growing complex data, it now requires the study and development of new architectures, algorithms, techniques and analytics. The problem no longer occurs in the ability to gather data, but in the ability to manipulate, analyses, summaries, visualize and create valuable and useful knowledge from the collected data promptly and in a fact-based manner. This study focuses on discussing the different problems, along with their solutions, of the different techniques quality assurance, testing and of cleaning big data. In addition, it also studies the various properties and quality attributes of big data. Moreover, it also discusses the existing techniques implemented to assure the quality of big data.
