Abstract

The study was conducted to explore the comparison of emotional quotient and intelligence quotient in between working or non-working women. The study was conducted in N.M.V. Lalitpur (U.P.). The data were collected from 100 women. Emotional Intelligence Inventory (EII) by S. K. Manful and Shubhra Mangal (2005), and Test of General Intelligence (TGI) by K. S. Mishra and S. K. Pal (2005) were used to collect data. Data were analyzed by using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The main conclusion is that, the effect of emotional and intelligence quotient level between working women and housewives. Differences are found in EQ and IQ. Family conditions also too much effective for the subject responses. In family related condition, higher differences are found in females. And the emotional quotient condition is not effective than intelligence quotient for the subject responses, there were some differences in working or non-working women’s EQ and IQ.
