The objective of present research work is to synthesis of a number of 1, 3, 4-oxadiazole derivatives for antifungal activity. Some of the synthesized compounds showed significant antifungal activity. KM-8 compound exhibited potent activity (MIC=12.5 Î¼g/ml). The synthesized derivatives were characterized by means of TLC, IR, and 1HNMR spectral analysis for their structural confirmation. The derivatives which showed better antifungal activity may serve as leads for further optimization.
